The boys basketball team’s 67-66 overtime win over Blue Valley North in the Class 6A third-place game ties the Panthers for the program’s best finish. Derby also took third in 2013.

Kaeson Fisher-Brown made the game-winning basket with 5.5 seconds to go. He finished with 14 points.

The Panthers made 14 three-pointers, and Dallas Metzger hit 8 of 10 for 24 points. Fisher-Brown and Cooper Chadwick each hit a three and Jack Ulwell and Mason Anderson both had two.

Chadwick and Fisher-Brown each had six assists and Anderson had eight rebounds.
