Want to tap into your inner child? Greatest Showman is the movie for you.

Heartwarming, empowering, joyous. Those are the words I would use to describe Michael Gracey’s movie The Greatest Showman.

The movie follows P.T Barnum, portrayed by X-Men’s Hugh Jackman, on his journey for self happiness. Alongside Phillip (Zac Efron) they create one of the first circuses. It’s controversial for both the people in the circus and Barnum’s family.  

The Greatest Showman features many musical attributes with several songs sung by the cast throughout the movie. My personal favorite, This Is Me, is sung by Keala Settle.

The song is empowering and motivates you to be yourself even when others put you down. Perfect for the theme of the movie.

I would highly recommend watching Gracey’s The Greatest Showman.
