Congratulations to Derby senior yearbook design editor Chloe Brown on winning the Ad Astra Kansas Scholastic Press Association’s infographic category.

Brown advances to the state competition, which is in May.

Congratulations also goes out to junior Sara Brown, the assistant design editor for yearbook, who won the advertising category at regionals. She also advances to the state competition.

Congratulations to sophomore Klaudia Manis, the video editor for newspaper,  who finished with an honorable mention in editorial writing. Manis advances to the state competition and will participate on May 2 at KU.
