Derby boys soccer update

Caden Miller

Derby boys soccer had a tough week playing three games in only four days with a trip to Washburn Rural on Tuesday and home Monday and Tuesday against Bishop Carroll and Campus

The week didn’t start out to plan, though, as the Panthers faced Bishop Carroll on Monday and lost 1-0. They just could not find the net.

On Tuesday, made the trip out to Washburn Rural where they lost 4-1 but completely dominated the game. Luck was not on their side.

To finish out the week, Derby played its rival, Campus, that ended in a 1-0 loss. Derby really dominated the game and created chances but just could not find the back of the net again.

Derby is 3-5-2 and will play at home against Manhattan on Monday then go to Salina South on Tuesday.
