For many, Christmas Eve is exciting and nerve-wracking as the anticipation of Christmas morning fills their heads. 

Others, however, like senior Emily Bui, get that excitement on Christmas Eve Eve. 

“I like celebrating on (Dec.) 24 because it lets me sleep in on Christmas morning and everyone in my family is a night owl,” she said. “It’s always a lot more fun.”

Traditions run differently between families, and for Bui, she always makes the most of it. 

“I think it’s important (to celebrate traditions) because it gives me a chance to spend time with my family, party and eat lots of food,” she said.
