Senior Kael Ramsey qualified for state during his first dive meet of the season. “I dove my sophomore year and went to state then,” said Ramsey. Kael was excited when he qualified for state. Ramsey said, “I was excited when I made state because and happy that I qualified so early in the season.” He qualified for diving and afterward his teammates were hyping him up. “The other swimmers and divers said things like, “that’s nuts” and “good job,” Coach Pinkerton said that it was awesome,” he said. “Qualifying for state wasn’t a big goal but it felt good because it was my first meet of the season. I wasn’t shocked because I had been doing well in practice before the meet,” senior Kael Ramsey said.
