Derby forensics students took third place overall at the Collegiate forensics tournament this weekend. Individual awards include:

Senior Keenan Barker took fourth place in Impromptu — state qualified — and fourth place in Extemp

Senior Shardae Sanders took first place in POI — state qualified — and fourth place in SSA

Senior Jayden Island took third place in Extemp

Junior Gill Noffert took fifth place in HSA

Freshman Nez Sparks took fifth place in POI
