Girls soccer has opened the season with a 1-2 record. 

The Panthers opened the season with a 2-0 loss at Wichita Northwest and then dominated Wichita West 12-0 in a game that ended at halftime on March 23. Lilly Emmerson scored the game’s first two goals and Aubrey Potts scored four. Six other Panthers scored.

They fell to Bishop Carroll in the first game of Wichita South’s Titan Classic but came back to beat Emporia 3-0 on goals by Harper Wintz, Kirsten Bourgeois and Mackenzie Cunningham.

The Panthers play Hutchinson at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Wichita South in the final game of the tournament.
