Derby public schools will be holding a meet and greet for the three principal candidates of Derby high school at the District administration center on May 23rd – 25th from 6:00-6:45 p.m.

This is a time for the community of Derby to contribute to the selection process and give feedback to who they think is the perfect fit.

The first candidate to meet on the 23rd is Sandra Short. Short is currently working her first year with the USD 429 district as the Superintendent of schools in Flinthills. She has been in the school field for four years.

Next is David Morford, who will be available to meet with on the 24th. Morford is serving his fourth year in Haysville as the principal of Campus high school in the USD 261 district. He has been in the school field for 26 years.

The last candidate to meet is Gretchen Pontious on the 25th. Pontious is currently the principal of Park Hill elementary school in the Derby district serving her third year. She has been in the school field for 14 years.
