Waiting all summer long, students rush to their friends asking if they have classes together.
Some are lucky to have classmates they know but others are wanting to click the reset button in hopes they change.
Senior Anadya Ortiz was quite disappointed when she walked into a class she was uninterested in taking and couldn’t find a familiar face in.
“I felt honestly kinda upset because the classes I have are already boring enough so I would rather have them with some friends. I didn’t change any of my schedule though,” Ortiz said.
Instead of keeping these schedules, many like senior Emma Kelly decided to change them.
“I was stressed having to change them before school started and then I had to keep changing it during school on the first two days,” Kelly said.
Many students felt the same way as Kelly, by the time she reached the auditorium to talk to a counselor, there was already a long line all the way to the commons.
“On top of first week anxiety, waiting all class time in the cold auditorium was stressful and sometimes students couldn’t change their classes,” Kelly said.
With the last week of school coming to an end, people are now settling into their new classes for the new year.
