The Panthers won their third straight game on Friday night, winning 27-17 at Hutchinson.
Offensively, senior quarterback Braxton Clark threw for two touchdowns – including a 54-yard pass to junior Da’Saahn Brame – and also ran for two touchdowns, both in the first quarter.
Clark also found sophomore Rowan Foster, who made an athletic grab on the ground, on a 9-yard touchdown pass for the 20-0 lead.
Senior running back Derek Hubbard added 97 rushing yards, including a 62-yard carry that set up a touchdown.
In the first half the Panthers were called for a holding penalty in their endzone which amounted to two points for the Salthawks. It was the only points of the half for Hutchinson, which trailed 20-2.
The Panthers play host to Campus on Sept. 29, which is Homecoming.
