On Saturday, DHS music students traveled to Goddard High School to audition for the Kansas Music Educators Association District ensembles. Students auditioned for four different ensembles, including 56A Band, HS Mixed Choir, HS Treble Choir, and HS Orchestra.

37 students were chosen to participate in the District ensembles, and all of the students chosen for these have the opportunity to be chosen for the All-State ensemble later in the school year. 

The district ensembles will have performances later in December.
