With snow comes tough times for the basketball team. The past two basketball games have both been postponed, making the next couple weeks for the team very difficult.

The team will have to play Newton on Monday and Campus on the 22nd in order to make up for those postponed games, while also playing in the McPherson tournament on the 18th, 19th and 20th and then playing Hutch on the 23rd. In the next week, they will have to travel for 5 games out of 6 days.

“5 games away from home in 6 days is going to be really challenging. We will try to scale back practice as much as possible to stay fresh, but also be prepared to play each team. Our guys will really need to be mentally tough during this time to win all of those games,” Coach Brett Flory.

The basketball team will be playing against Southeast high school at home today, before beginning their tough stretch of games for the next 2 weeks.
