Making history left and right, boys and girls bowling has pushed their record past another level.
The boys team went 12-0 overall in the regular season with a 6-0 league record.
Achieving their 4th straight league title, girls and boys are going to state.
Boys varsity placed 2nd with 3767.
Girls varsity placed 3rd with 2927.
The boys broke the all-time 3 game state scoring record.
“The team and I feel amazing. lots of confidence going into this, and I expect at least a top 2 finish,” junior Tyler Huffman said.
No one in state history has ever bowled a team score in the 3,000’s.
They shot a total of 3,034 total pins, breaking the record by 77 pins.
The girls are coming off their best regular season making this their best in program history.
“It’s going pretty good. I’ve kind of gotten more comfortable with making shots. I also really like the team this year. I’m really close with the girls,” senior Morgan Henning said.
The team went 10-2 overall in the regular season with a 5-1 league record.
Making it their best finish they have had since placing 3rd in 2021.
This year state will be held at North Rock Lanes on Thursday Feb.29
