With extra time in the leap year, there was so many chances to catch up on anything from sleep to homework.
Some people viewed this as a chance to have some extra time to practice their hobbies, like sophomore Steven Herling.
“(I got) an extra night of sleep and practice playing my guitar,” Herling said.
While some people saw it as an opportunity to get caught up on things, others saw it as any other day of the year.
“The same thing that I always do, because to me its just another day,” sophomore Zach Lai said.
This extra day lead students to do some extra work.
“School and working, because its just another day for me, but at least its one more shift on my paycheck” sophomore Elizabeth Van Dyke said.
Along with money-making, schoolwork was also on mind.
