The girls’ varsity soccer team is playing in the Varsity Titan Classic at Wichita South. 

So far, the Lady Panthers have played two rounds, their first match was against Bishop Carol on March 25 and they lost 4-0. However, in their second match they faced Dodge City on March 27, which was their second time winning, only this time the score was 2-1 instead of 2-0. 

During the game vs. Dodge City, the goal scorers were junior Mackenzie Cunningham and sophomore Harper Wintz.

Due to an unfortunate loss, the girls can only vie for 5th place in the Titan Classic if they beat Wichita East on March 30. 

Varsity sophomore player Lilly Araiza speaks of her experience playing in the tournament, “I think so far we have a good team, we work well together, and we have a good connection both on and off the field.”
