While swimming up a storm at the Campus meet on March 28, sophomore Kayliany Matos Torres breaks her personal record during her 500 event, resulting in 7.38.
“It’s one of my favorite events and I love swimming it even though it leaves me so exhausted in the end,” Matos Torres said.
After Matos Torres breaks a personal record, she feels as if all of her hard work has paid off.
“I just really love swimming for long periods at a time, it’s more relaxing to me,” Matos Torres said.
