Derby tennis took second at league yesterday, barely losing to Maize South by three points.

“We battled injuries in our top spot and we were still able to come together as a team to place second,” said Collin Bale.

These six players will move on to regionals in hopes to bring home a regional title for Derby.

League placings:

Tyler Bradt Singles – 3rd place

Ayden Bohaty Singles – 9th Place

Collin Bale/Garret Haupt Doubles – 3rd place

Coen Sowden/Evan Clark Doubles – 4rd place
