Currently competing on the world stage, AFJROTC is performing excellently at the VEX Robotics World Championships – it is being held on April 23. through May 3. 

Right now, the teams’ status is 4-1. 

What’s more, Team 50027V also tried their hand at competing at Worlds over the last three days, and they made it to the quarter-finals. 

Many competitors out of this team were great: Senior Anthony Loera, junior Ethan Poulin, junior Vincent Shaffer, junior Hunter Smith and sophomore Ewan Hawkinson. 

Loera represented Derby while partaking in the Ambassador program, in which he was exceptional.
