I’ve done art, music, singing and have played just about every sport you can think of, but I have never been more passionate about something than the school’s journalism program.
I’ve always had a passion for arts and creativity.
I started video editing when I was in fifth grade. Of course I had school, but on the side I had a fan account to run. Although I no longer use it, I give it credit for starting my passion for design.
After joining Yearbook in 2021 I quickly found joy in the ability to connect with people. I love being able to capture special moments for others. I consider it a gift from God to have the opportunity to connect with so many people.
After my second year of Yearbook I was asked to join Newspaper to help grow the design.
Newspaper has been such a different aspect than Yearbook. Even though the work piles on, I would never regret the decision I made because of the people I have surrounding me.
Each day I walk into K-11 it amazes me on the community that has been built here.
High school is a whirlwind of feelings and emotions, I’ve been through more friendships than I have pencils. One constant in my high school journey was K-11 and the friendships built in there. I always had people that were there for me, even if I didn’t know it.
