I love my cat.
I love her so much. But she’s so sassy. She’s got a case of what they call Tortitude.
Tortitude is what they say when a tortoiseshell cat has an attitude. This consists of bi-polar personalities by going from really sweet to racing across the house. Hence, Tortitude.
Torties are a really fun breed of cat to have, from their personalities and their soft coats they are almost completely female. Much like a calico.
She is very loving and in the mornings she’ll come and rub her tail on my legs (If she’s feeling nice). Or she’ll play with you a bunch to the point where you’d kind of get annoyed. Then sometimes she just runs as fast as she can across the entire house.
…Or bang on my door in the middle of the night…
Zelda is a prime example, since she basically fits the textbook answer of what that type of breed is supposed to look like and act like.
My mom went with my sister and got her pretty much on an impulse. Dad and I suspected it but we didn’t know for sure what they were doing. But surely enough, they came home with a small grey kitten.
Zelda gets along with our older tabby cat Charli. One day, they’ll be cuddling together and the next day they’ll be fighting with each other. It may also not be in a day’s time, but might only be 30 minutes before they switch up on each other.
There’s definitely times where I can get annoyed at Zelda and she thinks it’s funny (At least to me). They are very vocal about what they want and depending on who they are with, but it’s only their way of expressing their affection towards the owners.
