Derby Night Lights will be Aug. 29 at the Panther Stadium from 5-9 p.m.

Last year’s Derby Night Lights were canceled due to excessive heat, ending the 17-year streak.

Junior league and middle school teams will be playing earlier in the night.

All fall sports will be introduced, and cheerleaders from youth to high school will perform.

Toward the end of the night, junior varsity and varsity teams will scrimmage against each other.

The marching band will have a performance at 8 p.m.

Along with the games and performances, the Fan Shop will be open and multiple booths will be available.

Panther Publications will run a yearbook table, sno cones and a photo booth.
