For 20 years security guard Keith Watkins roamed the halls at DHS with a big smile and a lot of energy, saying something to everyone he saw whether he knew them or not. Things changed this fall when assistant basketball coach Chad Dunn stepped into Watkins spot.
Dunn is one of the most laid back people. When put next to Keith they are complete opposites.
“I talk to the people I know and do my best to say hi to some new faces around the halls.” Dunn said.
Dunn however did not take over the traffic directing job that Kieth had.
“Getting out of the parking lot is chaos without someone directing traffic. Sometimes I sit in the line for 15 minutes before I’m out of there,” sophomore Elias Stewart said.
With all this new change around this one job it may take students and teachers a while to adapt to such a drastic change.
