Every year the Kansas State Fair is held in Hutchinson. There are many activities to do at the state fair, including competing in events.

“I am competing in entomology this year because I love science and my mom did it when she was in high school,” sophomore Caitlyn Reinard said.

Not only can you compete in the state fair but you can go on rides, try different food and see bands perform. The state fair runs from Sept. 6 to Sept. 15.
