Blowouts are becoming more and more familiar for the Panthers as they dominated Valley Center 49-6 on Friday night to improve to 6-0.
It’s Valley Center’s first season in AVCTL Division I
The offense was led by sophomore running back Arieus Finley who rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns. Senior Da’Saahn Brame scored two touchdowns, including a 50-yard rushing TD.
An interception by Braesyn Williams at the end of the second half interrupted Valley’s chances at scoring in the half, and James Middlebrook had a punt return touchdown in the second quarter as the Panthers took a 49-0 lead.
The Panthers play host to Maize South (5-1) on Oct. 18.
