People do exciting things every day. Maybe that means drinking an extra cup of coffee before leaving the house, maybe that means getting a big promotion. For sophomore Jonny Petersen, that meant getting his driving permit.
“Honestly, it was scary. Being behind the wheel feels way faster than being in the passenger seat,” Petersen said.
Although driving can be scary, it becomes less scary when you have someone trustworthy in the seat next to you.
“I drive with my dad. My mom isn’t home when I get out of school so it’s us,” Petersen said.
Driving is new and scary to a lot of teens, but it provides a new experience. It marks a new stage in life.
