When Sophomore Alana Robinson was in first grade, she found the sport that she would immediately fall in love with: Softball. While this passion provided Robinson with many new friends, it also gave her a closer relationship with her family.
“(Having all of my family on the same team) helps us bond, and spend time on weekends together. My mom runs Game Changer, my dad coaches and I play with my sister,” Robinson said.
Over the summer, Robinson had a full circle when she helped coach her little sister, Hensley in 8u softball.
“(Coaching my little sister) was very fun because I taught her some things that I learned, and I also got to do it with my friend. (It was special) because I got to be a good influence and teach her the things that I was taught,” Robinson said
