When asked about what he’s looking forward to, freshman Sysamone Vongxay mentions Halloween, followed by a party this weekend. 

However, he was mostly excited about something more personal. 

“I’m really excited to go to my dad after school.” freshman Sysamone Vongxay shares. “I haven’t really seen my dad in a long time, and I’m glad that I’m getting to see him again.” He added. 

While Halloween and the party are part of the excitement, it’s clear that reuniting with his father after a long separation is what really makes it special.
