The CNA pinning is an honor given by the school to the top students in the program. Being pinned in high school displays a dedication to the medical field.
“I came to this course due to the correlation it has to my future career. I want to go into the medical field because I like helping others,” junior Linet Leong said.
For others, it impacted their life in a new way, bringing a new challenge to take on.
“I felt at the moment that I made an accomplishment and turned a chapter in my life. I took the course to challenge myself if I am able and willing to do what it takes to help the elderly,” junior France Cueto said.
Leong was the student with the highest test score in the Green day class. She is looking forward to her career as a doctor.
“I won’t be a CNA forever, hopefully a doctor soon. For the meantime it’s something I can do for now,” Leong said.
