As the year comes to a close, so do other long-standing activities, including Student Council’s second grade buddies.

Throughout the year, the buddies sent letters back and forth to each other, and the high schoolers visited the second graders three times. During those meetups, they colored, read books, did crafts and ate fun treats.

On Friday, the buddies geared up for one final fun day together in which the second graders came to DHS, toured the building with their high school buddy and ate ice cream.

While they have to part ways, the buddies will always remember the fun times they shared.
