Middle school teachers Alison Sueper and Melissa Beck switched Project Lead the Way classrooms with high school teachers Darin Link and Robert Schmitz on Wednesday.
“Mrs. Beck and I are just kind of just observing and watching what these classes here are doing,” Sueper said. “Just observing and talking with the students here.”
While the middle school teachers are here learning, the high school teachers are at the middle schools getting them excited for high school.
“We switch so we could learn a little more about their engineering pathway,” Beck said, “And so that the eighth graders could learn before they do enrollments about engineering classes and what they have to offer at the high school.”
Switching classes for the day can benefit both the teachers and students. This can help both learn about the engineering pathway and how they can continue in it.
