Students in BIOMED get to test their DNA in a PCR lab. It analyzes restriction enzymes in the digestion process and gel electrophoresis analysis. This will help them determine if their DNA has SNP, resulting in bitter taste receptors.
PTC research and labs help doctors and scientists identify key symptoms of illnesses. It helps multiply key DNA helixes that exist in tiny strands to assist in expanding, to understand each person’s DNA complexion better.
“It is an amazing lab and great experiment to learn,” junior Remy Fowler said.
The photos will relay the days of laboratory experiences through the course of the PTC assessment and the results of each day.
