January 18th, 2025, nine Derby High School members competed in a USPA Powerlifting Meet at G&G Training hosting several athletes across the country.

Those athletes who competed and represented Derby High School and its very own Barbell club competed and placed as well as earned medals for their accomplishments.

This supported event was created with the help of Mitchell Welch, and Madi Jenkins. Athletes including freshman Tess Goodin, Leona Nguyen, Aiden Dawson, Levi Parcell, Caden Wunderlich, Isaac Cowdin and Sophmore Ayla Chroeung.
