The boys swim team competed at the state meet on Feb 21. At the meet, Head coach Jimmy Adams won the 6A swim coach of the year, he lead his team to win ACTVL divison one league title for the seventh time with a very competitive league.

The team is still yet to do their annual Swim-to-a-Wish fundraiser for the 11th year.

Below are the state results:

200 Yard Medley relay:

Eleventh place – Reed Parkhurst, Ayden McFarren, Owen King and Jared Hayes finished with a time of 1:42.99

200 Free:

Fifteenth place — Jared Hays with a prelim time of 1:49.02 and finals time of 1:52.21

500 Free:

Sixteenth place — Jared Hays with a prelim time of 5:05.64 and finals time of 5:11.60

1 Meter Diving:

Fifteenth place — Tatum Johnson with a semis score of 233.55 points and finals score of 321.05

100 breaststroke:

Third place — Ayden McFarren finished with a prelim time of 1:00.91 and finals time of 1:00.60 (Personal best)

Thirteenth place — Owen King finished with a prelim time of 1:02.67 and finals time of 1:03.06

400 freestyle relay:

Sixteenth place — Jared Hays, Harrison Hallock, Reed Parkurst and Owen King finished with a time of 3:28.24
