As the boys wrestling season ends, State is just beginning.Having played regionals at garden city Feb. 21-22. The outcome was outstanding, with 8 of the boys heading to state in kansas City.

Coach Heincker prepares for state by putting the boys in the right mindset and prioritizes there heath more than anything 

“This is the time of year we start to have shorter practices, but a little bit harder so that they’re prepared for the physical grind. Right now we are healthy, and that’s the most important part, but out training cycle is ramping up,”Heincker said.

Senior Zach thomas feels ready to push to the end and improve the most he can before state

“Its more of sense of urgency seeing as its my last year, I dont have next year, I know that.So im gonna improve everyday and just try to win,”Thomas said.

Its known that state wont be easy, however, the boys are prepared and ready to travel far, and fight till the end.
