As Spring Sports come around the corner, athletes are eager to compete and prepare for their individual sport. This includes track and field, baseball, softball, soccer, girls swim and boys tennis.
Spanning 7-10 weeks, athletes who have been in hibernation or actively participating in other sports are now preparing to create and meet their goals on what to train now that spring sports are within their reach. After being asked about spring sports, returning athlete Junior Sanaa Truett replied “I am very excited for the new season, as we have been doing preseason workouts and athletic workouts to prepare us for the new season.” These upcoming sports have athletes on their feet as they know that athleticism can increase their physical fitness, enhance social skills, time management, and even stress relief.
