It was travel day for the Treblemakers middle school honor choir. They visited some of the elementary schools and finally ended the day at the high school. At every school they visited they performed one or two of their pops concert songs.
“I felt very fun but nervous and it got me ready for what next year will be,” eighth grader Kaci Stephenson Said.
Nervous yet thrilled, the middle schoolers prepared to perform one of their songs for the high schoolers.
“Teacher Mr. Morris came a while ago and helped prepare us and he was harsh but in a good way,” Stephenson said
As they stepped onto the risers, their anxiety faded, replaced by excitement. They started the day day by reliving their elementary school days, then ended the day by seeing what to come.
While performing for the high schoolers they cheered them on, creating a supportive atmosphere. By the end of their performance, the middle schoolers felt proud and inspired, ready to embrace the new adventures that high school would bring.
