Many are first-year powerlifters taking the platform for the first time, while other experienced members have gotten the ability to perform again and take the stage.
“The team achieved a lot, especially in terms of growing together and strengthening our bond. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to deliver that kind of performance. Many of them did set all-time personal records, but what they should be most proud of is their commitment—showing up, putting in the work, and successfully putting up a total,” Welch said.
