For one high school student, the future is about balancing ambition with backup plans and keeping far away from chemistry class.
“I want to go to college and play football. If Division I doesn’t work, then Division II, probably,” junior Krys Dorsey said.
Football may be his dream, but it’s not the only path he’s considering. Other than football, Dorsey has an interest in science.
“I want to study something in science, definitely not chemistry though,” Dorsey said.
Professional football is the ultimate goal, and he’s willing to put in the work to get there.
“I want to play professional football,” Dorsey said. “And then if that doesn’t work out, I want to be a scientist or something in that area. Not a chemist.”
