Book: The Lightning Thief

Summary: Percy Jackson is a teenager when a series of events leads him to discover that he’s a demigod. Fending off monster attacks, and going to Camp half-blood Percy discovers the world isn’t what it seems.

Why you should read it? This book is really good for people who like fantasy and monsters. It also leads into a whole series. It’s really well-written, and as the series Jackson and others grow and the characters are developed. It’s really intriguing and the book sucks you in. It’s definitely a book you have to read.
