It was an easy ride for the Panthers in a 55-0 win at Campus last night.
The offense kept the ball on the ground, rushing for 360 of the team’s 413 yards.
Running back Arieus Finley had a big night finding the endzone four times.
Three other players rushed for a touchdown as well: quarterbacks Krys Dorsey and Blade Clark and running back Ja’maree Jones.
The offense did its part, but they lined up with great field position on almost every drive.
The defense forced 5 turnovers.
Defensive back Issac Nikolas snagged two interceptions, linebacker Darrien Gentry grabbed a deflected pass for an interception of his own, and late in the game Brody Hopper stole one out of the air and set up the Panthers on the 1-yard line.
The defense also recovered a fumble.
The Panthers are back at home next week against Salina South on Sept. 19.
