Tucked away in the corner of the school, at the beginning of the curve of L hall, is a coffee shop. Not a lot of people know about it, but every day, kids take the surrounding teachers’ orders and go back to L2 to make it.
Their drink selection consists of lemonade, tea, and coffee of all types. The people who are making the drinks are kids who are learning real life job skills with assistance from the Panther Pals.
“The program helps them gain the skills they need to succeed after high school,” paraprofessional Kassia Fielder said.
