The volleyball team suffered its first AVCTL I loss on Tuesday.

The Panthers dropped the first match against Newton — 25-16, 21-25, 14-25 — but bounced back and dominated the second match against Hutchinson, 8-25, 25-23, 25-11.

The Panthers hope to win the Andover Invitational on Saturday.

 They’re currently ranked among the top 10 Class 6A teams in Kansas. 

“We definitely have improved since the beginning of the year,” sophomore Adisyn Igo said. “I’m excited to see where we go.”
