Derby girls basketball became 2017 Class 6A sub state champions, in their win against Washburn Rural 64-44 on Saturday. Earning the Lady Panthers their second state playoff berth for the second year in a row. The panthers will continue their journey to a state title at Koch Arena on Thursday March 9. Their first opponent, Olathe-East.
