At the Educators Rising event on Wednesday at the Alvin E. Morris Administrative Center in Wichita, DHS students won three events.

Junior Tori Rhynard placed first in CTE Lesson Planning.

Juniors Macey Truitt and Alexandria Wahlenmaier placed first in Inside Our Schools.

Junior Taylor Bellew placed first in Educators Rising Moment.

“It means so much to me that I can spend time with and learn more about what being a teaching means,” Truitt wrote in a direct message.

All four students qualified for the state competition in February.
