Reality 101 and research teacher Molly Kysar and her students organized a community art project called “Ad Astra per Aspera”. This Latin phrase means “through hardships to the stars”. The project is open for all Derby High students to participate in. Students write their hopes and dreams on yellow and blue stars and their problems and obstacles on black and white rectangles.
