On March 3, students from several schools around Kansas competed in an art competition at Friends University.
The art competition at Friends allowed groups of artists from other schools around the state to come together and show their appreciation of art.
“ My favorite part was seeing all of the different types of art and how artists utilize their materials and how they envision things”, said junior Jenna Terrell, who was second in watercolor painting.
