Quarterback Lem Wash commits to Tennessee Tech
October 29, 2020
From Derby, Kansas to Cookeville, Tennessee — Panthers quarterback Lem Wash has committed to play football at Tennessee Tech.
Tennessee Tech is an FCS (Football Championship Subdivision) team competing in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The decision came down between Missouri State and Tennessee Tech.
“What separated (Tennessee Tech) from the others was how they have a plan set up for their players, and it’s really just one big family,” Wash said.
Wash said that playing college football has always been a dream of his since “watching my first college football game on TV. “
With the commitment done, Wash still has his sights set on another 6A state Championship.
The fourth-seeded Panthers kick off the playoffs with a matchup between No. 13 seed Wichita Southeast at 7 on Friday at home.
