Friday night the Panthers had their second home game in a row  — and the second blowout in a row, as well.

The fourth-seeded Panthers took on the Southeast Buffaloes in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs. The Panthers started off fast and killed the Buffaloes’ spirits quickly en route to a 62-0 win.

The Panthers will play Nov. 6 at home against Gardner-Edgerton.

Senior quarterback Lem Wash, fresh off  the announcement of his commitment to Tennessee Tech, threw for two touchdowns and had 95 passing yards.

Sophomore running back Dylan Edwards rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns. And his backup, freshman Derek Hubbard, rushed for 2 touchdowns, as well.
