Students make New Year’s resolutions for 2022
December 31, 2021
As 2022 creeps closer, students are excited about a fresh start.
They look forward to another opportunity to better themselves and move onto a brighter future; one that can be achieved through New Year’s resolutions.
“My New Year’s resolution is to mentally and physically heal myself and just focus on more beneficial things for me,” junior Talia Ransom said.
While Ransom is aiming towards more inner healing, freshman Kinsley Houseman is taking a different approach.
“(I want to) get a job and do things out of my comfort zone,” Houseman said.
Senior Quentin Dorsey has a more simple resolution.
“Just to be the better version (of myself)… for others around me,” Dorsey said.
However, sophomore Hazel Jerez wants to shoot for the stars in 2022.
“My New Year’s resolution is to… be a change in this world, impact people’s lives with being positive. Also becoming a better person on the mats for wrestling, and… being grateful for every opportunity and day,” Jerez said.
